| MEDA's annual Grande Bazaar March 24 & 25 |
|
We are so excited to be preparing for MEDA's annual Grande
Bazaar on March 24 and 25th 2012. The Bazaar location will be
the Bonsor Community Centre at 6550 Bonsor Avenue in Burnaby
(right beside Metrotown). This is always a fun event and a great
time for us to catch up with so many great friends! |

| Happy Holidays |
|
We hope you are looking forward to the upcoming holidays! As
for us at Arwen's Apparel, we are busy with people dropping
into the shop in Kamloops (and our partners' outlets). People
are finding that "something special" to help express their
love for family and friends. We are so pleased to be part of
that process!
Our new winter wear - wool coats, sweaters, mittens and
headwear - is knitted by Tibetan Refugees in Nepal,
commissioned specifically for the Canadian outdoors.
We hope you will enjoy your holiday time and find many ways to
express your love and gratefulness this season.
These words from the Dali Lama may give us pause to consider:
"No religion basically believes that material progress alone
is sufficient for humankind. All religions believe in forces
beyond material progress. All agree that it is very important
and worthwhile to make a strong effort to serve human society.
"To do this, it is important that we understand each other. In
the past, due to narrow-mindedness and other factors, there
has sometimes been discord between religious groups. This
should not happen again. If we look deeply into the value of a
religion in the context of the worldwide situation, we can
easily transcend these unfortunate happenings. For, there are
many areas of common ground on which we can have harmony. Let
us just be side by side- helping, respecting, and
understanding each other - in common effort to serve
humankind. The aim of human society must be the compassionate
betterment of human beings."

| Bazaar Dec. 3 at Let's Move, Kamloops |

| Bazaar on Saturday afternoon December 3 at Let's Move Dance Studio - 925 McGill Place, Kamloops BC (behind/above Sunmore Ginseng). We will be selling our newest designs and the old favourites, starting at 5:00 pm. Entertainment including belly dancing will start at 6:00. |

We will be at the Salmon Arm Activity Center on November 23
from 6:00-8:00 pm. We will be showing some of our new designs
in dance and steam punk wear! |
